The “Writing Witch’s Grimoire,” A Full Show And Tell! (Podcast 170)

As you know, I’ve crafted hundreds of handmade magickal journals for customers of The Writing Witch Shop, and offer tons of printable pages for you to use in your book…

But have you ever wondered what exactly is in The Writing With’s own grimoire?

In this video, I invite you to join me for a show and tell flip through of my current grimoire / book of shadows. For the past 6 months, I’ve been using this handmade binder to build my own magick 101 book for my practice.

While I’ve obviously been making and keeping various types of magickal journals over the years, this is the first time I’ve ever committed to creating a proper “grimoire” style book where each area of my practice is neatly documented and outlined.

When I embarked on this project I wanted to invite other magickal mavens like you to join me, so the majority of what’s in this binder are printable information and prompt pages that are available in my shop and / or The Writing Witch Coven on Patreon. I started making and sharing these pages and workbooks because I know as well as anyone that whether you’re new to the witchy path, or if you’ve been practicing for ages, creating that organized grimoire can be really daunting and intimidating.

My goal for this project was to create a series of “chapters” that both provide useful information and inspiration for your practice, as well as guide you to document and express your own personal experiences on the path. So where most book of shadows pages you can find online simply outline generic, dogmatic information, the entire writing style of my pages is designed to give you ideas that spark your own intuition.

So in this video, I’m going to be going through my binder as it currently is, and talking you through each and every page.

I’ve decided to do something special to celebrate six months of this grimoire building project.
