DIY Lavender Crown Tutorial For Harvest Season

DIY Lavender Flower Crown For Lammas Lughnasadh August's Eve Season

Let’s make this fun DIY lavender crown for Lammas / Lughnasadh / August’s Eve!

The weeks surrounding August 1st are known to witches and pagans as The First Harvest time.

It’s the time of year when things like herbs and grains are ready to be picked. This arteficial or dried flower crown is inspired by those late summer harvest vibes!

You will need:

  • A headband
  • A strip of neutral colored fabric (forest green would actually be best)
  • Cloth or dried flowers and foliage of your choosing
  • Green twine or floral wire (optional, but highly recommended)
  • Glue gun and scissors

Let’s get started! This video shows the entire process from beginning to end.

*Note: be very careful with the glue gun! I mean this for your safety as well as for the aesthetic of your flower crown! You’ll see in the video how I’m careful to make sure that any visible glue is pooled in a perfect little “dew drop!”

Have fun!
